We nurture students who are creatively curious and strive to experiment and innovate new things on both academic and non-academic fronts. Our pedagogy is student centric with emphasis on enquiry and project-based learning. We treasure dynamism and deem that one should be well prepared to adapt to the global scenario and work on his learning accordingly.

Today, the role of a school is not only to pursue academic excellence but also to motivate and empower its students to be lifelong learners, critical thinkers, and productive members of an ever-changing global society. At Ashoka, we provide an atmosphere to our students for multifaceted development, where children are encouraged to channelize their potential in the pursuit of excellence. This can only be possible in a holistic, student-centric environment. The talents, skills, and abilities of each student need to be identified, nurtured, and encouraged so that he / she is able to reach greater heights. Students need to be provided with a platform to think, express, and exhibit their skills. It is necessary to empower them to negotiate several issues that confront them, with the educator being a facilitator.
The school is striving hard to make the best possible efforts to inculcate strong values combining with academics and extra-curricular activities in the children. Converting every individual into a self-reliant and independent citizen, the school provides an amalgam of scholastic and co-scholastic activities.
No wonder, a student harnessed in such an atmosphere has every hope and possibility of becoming a responsible, balanced and a mature adult and is able to live in to contribute and to shoulder responsibilities of the society, of which he forms an integral part. Children need a supportive environment at home and at school.
At Ashoka, our approaches to learning are child centric encouraging Activity based learning and inculcating a scientific temper and a spirit of free enquiry. In our curriculum the student is the primary focus and each child is involved in the learning process. We are constantly improving our teaching methodology so that it turns learning into combination of classroom study, research and scientific discovery.
While academic excellence is our major thrust, the school is also devoted to prepare the students for life, groom them to face the challenges of tomorrow, and encourage them to be socially relevant. We constantly endeavour to always live up to this ideology and inculcate this into everything we do, with the aim that we will be able to ensure that the children grow to their full potential, The parents are the most strengthening power in moulding the future of children. Their consistent support empowers us to do more and more. I pay my gratitude to them for their faith in us.

It is here in Ashoka that great efforts are taken to identify and extract a child’s genius. We believe that every child is gifted and so we consider it our prime responsibility to watch out for any signs of skill and talent. This leads to grooming the child in the particualr domain in which he/she is found to have an aptitude and the required skillsets to go with it. Our educators, with a keen sense of observation cosntantly tap into a student’s talent to groom him/her into a successful individual.

At Ashoka Junior College, we focus on entrepreneurial development of students. Activities like debate, student’s presentation, field visits etc. are regularly conducted so that students can learn from participative learning. Our highly appreciated Magazine YUVARTH is a beautiful combination of Yuva (Young Mind) and Arth (Economy) and is run by our very able student body. At Ashoka Group of Schools, we believe in bringing our students at par with scientific advances and technology. And for this purpose both Physics and Astronomy play a huge role. Physics - the study of matter, energy and their interactions - is an international enterprise, which plays a key role in the future progress of humankind. Likewise Astronomy and related fields are at the forefront of science and technology. So as to answer fundamental questions and drive innovation we encourage our students to explore the blue-skies. The pursuit of this research requires cutting-edge technology and methods that can on a longer time scale, through their broader application make a difference. And hence, at Ashoka, we have our in-house Observatory, fondly known as AUSAO*- Ashoka Universal School’s Astronomical Observatory. We hope to bring into this world a generation of star-gazers and astronomy researchers, who will help us, fulfill our mission statement.
