Following our mission statement to empower Ashoka’s learners to become responsible global citizens, 13 students from Ashoka Group of Schools’ Grades 9 to 12 along with two mentors visited the United Nations (UN) Office in Geneva, Switzerland and attended the UN InternationalPeacekeepers Day event held on 31st May 2023.
These students formed the first ever Indian young peacemakers’ delegation in UN Geneva. At the event, they presented papers and stressed on the importance of peace in the modern world. The only two countries that have such a young peacemakers delegation in the UN Geneva office are France and Ukraine.
The illustrious cricketer Kapil Dev graced our Arjun Nagar Campus in April 2022, where he delivered a motivational address to our students, instilling in them the determination to pursue their dreams and surmount any challenges along the way.
A 6ft tall painting was presented to His Excellency, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, the ex-president of India on Children's Day 14th November 2006 at the Rashtrapati Bhavan, Delhi by the Ashoka students who created it along with the Art department HOD.
In 2016, the renowned cricketer Zaheer Khan paid a visit to the Ashoka Group of Schools at their Ashoka Marg Campus.
In 2017, social worker and social activist Sindhutai Sapkal graced the Ashoka Group of Schools' Ashoka Marg Campus with a visit.
In 2017, the esteemed music director, Anandji Virji Shah, honored us as the Guest of Honour on our Excellence Day.
